Katie is a consultant at the firm, based in Auckland, and bringing expertise across fintech, ventures, regulation and funding structures. Katie is a well-respected adviser known for her commitment to client service. She offers technical excellence combined with a commercial and accessible approach.
Katie is passionate about innovation, working with tech-based innovators as well as long-established businesses in the financial services sector to explore market opportunities, develop products, understand regulatory perimeters, and set up the right governance and funding structures.
She also regularly advises on complex transactions and projects across acquisition finance, structured finance, debt restructuring, corporate venture capital and other forms of capital-raising and funding.
Katie’s specialist regulatory experience covers consumer finance laws, the regulations governing payments systems, anti-money laundering legislation, and open banking/data regulation.
Katie has previously been a partner and practice group head at national and global law firms.
